The Company:

Kingsley Hamilton Estates is an upmarket estate agency based in London's Canary Wharf financial district.

The brief:

Create a stylish brand that would appeal to a more affluent, single to small family 30-50 age range demographic.

The brand:

The client wanted to incorporate the essence of the financial district in the logo, and also wanted to carry the colours of their sister companies which comprised of lime green, blue, pink, purple, yellow. The challenge of adopting these particular colours was in trying to eliminate the possibility of creating a look that was too playful and in effect would not appeal to the tastes of the key audience. To counter this, I chose to use a strong serif font (Trajan Pro) as it helped to create a sense of harmony by giving the logo a nice balance of masculine and feminine qualities.
